I had hoped that the passage of time would improve the rates at which women succeed in the profession, but if a recent study titled "The Leaky Pipeline for Women Entering the Legal Profession" is any indication, we may actually lose ground in the coming years.

    Another reason women do not go to top law schools: unless they are willing to deal with daunting logistics, they must find a law school in the city where their husband is employed, even though they might be able to get into a top tier law school in another city.
