    As the Bar‘s Sunset bill (SB 302) presently states, the Texas Bar will get to start increasing dues withOUT complying with the longstanding requirement of an attorney membership referendum. So the Bar‘s 50 million dollar annual budget isn‘t enough? The Bar‘s 30 employees who already receive six figure incomes (plus benefits) aren‘t enough? The average compensation package of $100,000 per each of the Texas Bar‘s 270 "workers" isn‘t enough? Nearly 80 years of attorney member referendum rights regarding all dues increases isn‘t enough?
