The American Association of Law Schools is moving a 2018 conference from Austin to Chicago and will no longer host events in Texas, its president told state lawmakers.

    Deaths by Gun violence so far this year in Austin, 18. Deaths by gun violence in go so far this year in Chicago, 372. Seems like moving the AALS conference from Austin to Chicago is a good idea.

    Actually Texas is debating SB 3 and 91. SB 6 is from the regular legislative session. The Texas Legislature is now in Special Session called by Gov. Abbott.
