A federal jury in Dallas recently acquitted Stephen Squires, the CEO and chairman of Quantam Materials Corp., who had been charged with two counts of tax evasion. One of Squires' criminal-defense lawyers, says the win represents a rare trial victory over federal prosecutors asserting tax-related criminal charges against a defendant.
