It is a sad day for the children of Texas when the best interests of the child lose out to a former family court judge's sympathy with reducing the case loads of Family Courts. Lehrmann should be ashamed of herself for dragging this case out for so many years until she finally got 4 fools to go along with this absurd opinion. Well, it's time to get out and campaign against these twits. Since the mother has now married the sex pervert, I fear for the safety of this child. Poor kid.

As the dissent stated, the majority opinion is absurd, to put it mildly. The best interests of the child obviously do not matter in the State of Texas. And Lehrmann was a Family Court judge before getting on the SC of Texas? Lord save the children of Texas when the Family Court judges are more concerned about reducing their workload than the safety of the children.
