Can someone please explain to me in layman‘s terms -

Is warning that you will do some lawful act a threat?

eg. If the governor had said he‘d write a scathing reprimand in the Texas Lawyer (exercising the 1st Amendment) if Mrs Lehmberg did not resign, would that be considered a threat or coercion?

Secondly - and I think its a good discussion for all public servants, left or right -

Where does political horse-trading and compromise become bribery?

Is there a bright-line test we non-lawyers can use to look at a politician‘s action (in context) and say "yep, he crossed the line."?

Most lawyers sitting on the benches of appellate courts of the Texas Supreme Court (TSC) "system" are every bit as corrupt as Perry or Tom "the Hammer" Delay have been. It is a certainty that the lawyer-judges, most of whom came from and will return to lucrative lawyer-partnerships representing white-collar crooks will have no hesitation committing honest services fraud against Texas by issuing fraudulent “legal" opinions that will keep their cronies Perry and Delay out of jail.

Texas lawyer-judges do that with impunity many times in cases ignored by lawyer-managed corporate media--see for example 5th COA Justice David L. Bridges‘ fraud in his opinion on remand from the TSC (http://www.scribd.com/doc/77638195/Opinion-on-Remand-by-David-L-Bridges-June-23-2003). Bridges’ honest services fraud was later shown to the State Commission on Judicial Conduct (SCJC) and the FBI to be the product of bribes paid to benefit Carrington, Coleman, Sloman and Blumenthal, LLP partner and federal-judge-appointee Barbara M. G. Lynn (http://www.scribd.com/doc/221876320/FBI-FOIA-Request-Judge-Barbara-M-G-Lynn) and Lynn‘s clients--lawyers Windle Turley, and Baron & Budd, PC president Fred Baron and secretary Lisa Blue.

The epidemic corruption of the TSC "system” has remained unchecked because of regulatory capture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regulatory_capture) law putative law enforcement agencies like the SCJC by the lawyers‘ union bosses of the State Bar of Texas (http://www.scribd.com/doc/155127415/Texas-SCJC-Memo). The DoJ and it investigations organ, the FBI, under infamous managers like Criminal Division Chief (now financial crimes defense lawyer) Lanny "Too-Big-To-Jail” Breuer, are showing symptoms of chronic regulatory capture as evidenced by Breuer’s public admissions of gross prosecutorial indiscretion in the selective non-prosecution of big-fee paying bannisters, such as AIG‘s Maurice R. Greenberg, whose financial/insurance fraud schemes caused the 2007-2008 financial collapse, the subsequent global recession and government bailouts—crimes Breuer now defends for profit.

Democrat hacks and political provocateurs. They are behind in the polls for 2014 and worry about Perry in 2016 so they attempt to defame his character. This is a pattern that they have used successfully in the past. Remember Casper Weinburger, the democrats October surprise. This kind of garbage needs to stop and those engaged in it should consider the damage they are causing to the republic.
